Scholarship Honors Certificate
Requested by: Grand Council Deputy
Eligibility: 2nd & 3rd year professional students with minimum G.P.A. of 3.0*
Expense of: National
The Scholarship Honors Certificate originated in 1958 in order to recognize brothers for outstanding scholastic achievement. The calculations are based upon the GPA attained during the academic year. In the case of the non-traditional grading systems, recommendations from their faculty during this time period are required. The certificate is issued by the Central Office following the request of the chapter’s Grand Council Deputy.
*Brothers must be participating in the professional pharmacy curriculum and be in their 2nd or 3rd professional year, meaning only during didactic work and excluding their final APPE rotation year. Brother must attain a minimum grade point average of 3.0 or the equivalent of a B average for work done in the evaluation period over the academic year and must be an active member in good standing for the academic year in question.
If the chapter is from a non-traditional curriculum, or not in a 4 year professional program, eligible Brothers are those in their professional program while still in didactic classes and not on APPE rotations.
For schools with a non-traditional grading system, Brother must earn a recommendation from faculty members at their pharmacy school based on exceptional scholastic achievement. The name of the brother and a brief description as to why the faculty member feels they deserve the award should be submitted to the Chapter’s Grand Council Deputy.

Collegiate Chapter Operations Form
ALL collegiate chapters are expected to complete the Chapter Operations Form. This form represents the minimum standards expected of all the collegiate chapters. This form is a tool that chapters can use to align to the minimum standards of the fraternity. If your chapter does not meet minimum standards, use this form as a tool to seek help from leaders within the fraternity for guidance and help. These leaders can include but are not limited to your GCD, Province officers, and National officers.
Requirements: The chapter's Regent or a Brother designated by the Regent may complete the Chapter Operations Report Form. The Regent must review the Chapter Operations Report Form for accuracy prior to submission.
Once the form is completed; if there were any responses other than Yes, meet with your GCD to discuss and develop an improvement plan.
Creating an internal improvement plan is to ensure chapters are meeting minimum standards across the organization.
This should be used to reach out for resources and guidance from the Province and IEC Officers (as needed) and is not intended to reprimand or single out a chapter.
