Grand Regent: 2017-2019
Robert Mancini is a 2005 initiate of the Delta Phi chapter at University of California, San Diego. Robert received his Pharm.D. in 2008, then went on to complete a PGY1 hospital residency at St. Luke’s Health System and PGY2 oncology specialty residency at St. Luke’s Mountain States Tumor Institute (MSTI) in Boise, Idaho. Robert then went on to serve as the first lead for the Oral Chemotherapy program at St. Luke’s, NCCCP Supportive Oncology Pharmacist and lead for the oncology infusion center at their Fruitland clinic. Currently, he works as the BMT pharmacy program coordinator and the residency program director for the Oncology PGY2. He is also an adjunct clinical instructor in oncology at Idaho State University, College of Pharmacy.
Robert has served the Fraternity at local, regional, and national levels, including GCD for Epsilon Pi chapter, Vice Satrap and Satrap of Province IX, Supervisor roles for Province VII, VIII and the Gulf Coast Province and on multiple Province and international committees. Robert previously served as Grand Counselor for the 2013–2015 term where his focus was the implementation of tools to assist chapters in their daily activities, including monthly legislative posts to assist in governance at the chapter level as well as helping greatly improve the tax filing process. Robert also served as Grand Vice-Regent for the 2015–2017 term where his focus was policy streamlining and development as well as bringing new technology and innovation to the 58th GCC including a GCC “App” and electronic voting for the first time in GCC history. Robert was elected as Grand Regent at the 58th Grand Council Convention in Naples, Florida. During his term as Grand Regent, his focus was on public relations and philanthropy and helped to establish the new international philanthropy project with Reach Out and Read, implementing service grants, and made strides towards major revisions of the graduate and collegiate chapter awards as well as new awards geared towards the promotion of philanthropic activities at the Chapter level.
